Session Highlights

  • Studio tour introducing you to the ceramic-making process and the different stages of a piece
  • Techniques: pinching, coiling, and slab work
  • Exploring functional and abstract forms
  • Visual storytelling

What to Expect from the Session

We begin with a brief introduction to the ceramic-making process and a guided studio tour, giving you an understanding of how ceramics move through the different stages of making.

Our hand-building sessions are designed to be welcoming and playful. They are especially suited for groups of friends and family, as well as complete strangers coming together to share a creative experience.

We incorporate visual storytelling into the session, encouraging participants to explore their imagination and create something unique using the hand-building techniques introduced during the workshop.

The emphasis is not on creating a perfect piece, but on enjoying the process of making and observing how you feel throughout the experience.

Glazing & Firing

We do not offer glaze firing services for hand-built pieces made during the workshop. Participants can opt for bisque firing at an additional cost ranging from INR 300 to INR 1200 depending on the size of the piece. We will take approximately a 1 month cycle to finish your piece.

Once your piece is ready, you are welcome to collect it from the studio. Please send us a WhatsApp message before your visit so we can have your work ready for collection. We kindly request that all finished pieces be collected within three months, after which any unclaimed work will be donated to children from the surrounding village.

DELIVERY WITHIN INDIA
If you would prefer your bisque fired piece to be shipped, we offer delivery anywhere in India for an additional INR 300 - INR 600 per piece depending on weight and size of the piece. You can expect to receive your bisque piece delivered within 30-40 days from the date of your session.
TAKING HOME RAW PIECES
We generally do not recommend taking home unfired pieces, as they are still wet and extremely fragile. However, if you wish to carry your raw piece with you, a nominal charge of INR 80 per kg applies to cover the cost of our in-house specialty clay.
CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULING
Please message us on whatsapp 48 hrs before to reschedule. In case of cancellations, the booking amount of INR 500 per person is non-refundable.

Can I visit the studio to buy ceramics?

Yes.

Our studio shop is open from 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM – 7:00 PM.

We are closed on Mondays, and no prior reservation is required to visit the shop and browse or purchase ceramics.

Prior reservations are required for pottery sessions or if you would like to meet the team to discuss a custom ceramic order or our courses.

How long does the glazing and firing process take? And why does it take so long?

The complete process takes approximately one month.

This includes trimming, slow drying, bisque firing, sanding, washing, waxing, glazing, glaze firing and packing.

If you opt for delivery within India, you can expect to receive your finished piece within 40–50 days from the date of your workshop.

Please note that timelines can vary slightly depending on weather, drying conditions and kiln schedules.

Booking fees are non-refundable.

If you need to reschedule your session, please inform us at least 48 hours before your scheduled session.

Rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours' notice may not be accommodated.
